OXFORD — Corey Amos is back on the Ole Miss football team.
Just over a month after the three-star linebacker decommitted with the Rebels and opened his recruitment again, Amos committed to play at Ole Miss again in a social media post on Friday.
“There's nowhere else I'd rather be,” he wrote.
The news signals a promising start to perhaps the biggest recruiting weekend ever for the University of Mississippi, with several top prospects expected to attend the Rebels' “Juice Fest” event, named after coach Lane Kiffin's dog.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Amos is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 435 overall prospect and No. 44 linebacker in the class of 2025. The Opelousas High School product is also ranked as the No. 13 player in the state of Louisiana.
Amos reported he had offers from several schools, including Tulane University, Baylor University, University of Michigan, Miami University and the University of Alabama.
He becomes the 13th commit for Ole Miss' 2025 freshman class, which was ranked 46th nationally as of Friday night.
