India, which won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, won gold at last year's Asian Games and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Captain Harmanpreet Singh, who scored six goals to win the bronze medal at the last tournament, will be playing in his third Olympics. The team also includes veteran goalkeeper PR Sreejesh and midfielder Manpreet Singh, both of whom will be playing in their fourth Olympics.
India will compete in Pool B Men's Hockey at the Paris 2024 Olympics Also taking part in the tournament will be New Zealand, Ireland, reigning Olympic champions Belgium, former champions Australia and Argentina.

Pool A: Netherlands, Germany, UK, Spain, France, South Africa
Pool B: Belgium, India, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, Ireland
Twelve teams will take part in the men's hockey competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics, divided into two groups. Each team will play each other once in the group stage, with the top four from each group advancing to the quarterfinals on August 4.
The semi-finals of the tournament will be held on August 6, while the medal round matches are scheduled for August 8.
