The Paris Olympics will open on Wednesday, July 24, with men's soccer leading the way ahead of the opening ceremony. For the first time since 2008, the U.S. men's team will be participating in the tournament. Stars like Christian Pulisic No one will be in attendance. Marko Mitrovic's U.S. Under-23 team will be in the tournament, as will Messi's squad. Flexibility is key with an 18-man roster, but substitutes are available in case of injuries.

Drawn in the same group as hosts France and facing the likes of Argentina and Spain, the U.S. will need to show tenacity if they are to advance to the knockout stages.
