After his win over Mike Perry, the former UFC champion urged Jake Paul to stop boxing and fighting MMA fighters because he was tired of the “crazy” matches.
Since Jake Paul entered the boxing world, he has faced off against a number of former mixed martial artists who have switched to new sports.
The latest addition to Jake's boxing record is a win over 'Platinum' Mike Perry, with the YouTuber turned boxer beating the former UFC star by TKO in the sixth round. Jake now has his sights set on his planned bout with 'Iron' Mike Tyson in November, but that's not stopping other fighters who say they want to fight him in the meantime.
However, when it comes to his future bouts, the social media star has been urged by former UFC champion Aljamain “Funk Master” Sterling to stop competing with mixed martial artists and focus solely on boxing, especially if he wants to win gold himself.
“Paul, you've proven you can box, you're getting better with every fight, and now I get to see you fight someone your size, so there's no spectacle of an unfair fight, because to me, that's what it's all about,” the former UFC bantamweight champion said in a July 22 YouTube video.
