Actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia recently took to social media to share pictures of her getting enthusiastic and ready for the show. Khatron Ke KhiladiNimrit, who is known for her roles in TV dramas, took up a new challenge that required her to make major changes to her fitness routine to boost her physical and mental resilience.
To prepare, Nimrit incorporated mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing into her training. She said, “I incorporated MMA and kickboxing into my training. MMA really changed my mindset. It teaches you to keep going no matter what, which helped me not give up on my stunts during the show.”
But her training didn't end there: Ahluwalia's training was comprehensive, including CrossFit, strength training, and mobility training. These workouts were designed to increase her strength, agility, and endurance, which are essential for the tough stunts and challenges. One of the key lessons the actress learnt while preparing was the importance of recovery. “During my preparation, I realised the importance of recovery even more. We often tend not to give our bodies enough recovery, which can further hinder us. I realised that it is essential to strike a balance. So, always listen to your body and make sure you take ice baths or massages at the right time.”
Nimrit's dedication to training is evident in her physical transformation, and she sets a great example for her fans by emphasizing the importance of balance, recovery and mental strength.
