Sean O'Malley isn't going to hear that from Conor McGregor.
The current UFC bantamweight champion slammed McGregor on Monday after the former two-division champion quote-tweeted O'Malley's post about his past failed Ostarine drug test with laughing and crying emojis.
In the original post, O'Malley discussed a recent study sent to him on the podcast by UFC head of drug testing Jeff Novitzki that looked into whether ostarine transfers through sweat, and questioned whether this could explain why he'd failed tests in 2018-2019 due to extremely minute traces of the banned substance.
Sean O'Malley says recent research has shown evidence that Ostarine is absorbed into the body through sweat, which is why he has tested positive for banned substances so many times.

McGregor's post disparaging O'Malley and Nowitzki's findings has since been deleted, but that didn't stop the UFC bantamweight champion from attacking McGregor in response.
“Conor is not in anyone's GOAT conversation,” O'Malley wrote in one post. “High entertainment value, low skill. Really strong left hand. Bad cardio. Weak abs. So-so athleticism. Mentally weak. Drug addiction and needs rehab. 1-4 in his last 5 fights. Still a fan. Hope the toe heals.”
“I think he's a nasty bastard,” O'Malley added in a follow-up message about McGregor.

I miss the old Conor π You've fallen off. Still a fan. I actually don't care that you're 1-4 in your last 5 games. Looking forward to watching. Hope your toe gets better. https://t.co/ENSkQw1RmB

This isn't the first time McGregor and O'Malley have done this.
O'Malley has repeatedly declared himself a fan of McGregor in the past, but found himself in the former champion's crosshairs when McGregor slammed him after Ryan Garcia tested positive for Ostarine in May.
In June, O'Malley told MMA Fighting that he remained a fan of McGregor even after the fighter retracted some of his comments during a social media live stream.
“I've been a huge Conor fan forever,” O'Malley told MMA Fighting. “As the No. 1 fan, I've followed his career and watched every interview I could. I've learned so much from him. He's a legend. That's it. That's the reality.”
On Monday, that fandom was put to the test again.
