The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) on Friday opened registrations for the National Esports Championship 2024 (NESC24), a qualifier for the esports event at the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held in Chonburi, Thailand.
The 6th AIMAG, organised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), will feature 36 sports and two demonstration events.
The AIMAG esports event, which has been promoted to a full-fledged medal sport, will take place at Central Sriracha, Chonburi from 23rd to 28th November and will feature three mobile titles: Mobile Legends Bang Bang (Women's division, team event), Arena of Valor (Open division, team event) and eFootball (Open division, individual event).
With AOV and MLBB banned in India, India will only be competing in the mobile division of eFootball.
NESC24 will take place as an online event in the first week of August (with the quarter-finals onwards being streamed live on our YouTube channel), offering Indian players the opportunity to showcase their skills in the eFootball mobile title.
The selected players will train at the venue ahead of the continental tournament.
The sixth AIMAG will take place from November 21st to November 30th, two days before the start of the esports event.
