From a seed planted in his childhood through boxing by his father in 2006, Brenden Zita’s passion for martial arts blossomed and in 2019 Noordwijk Martial Arts Academy was founded.
What began as small private lessons has evolved into a structured academy that demonstrates the dedication and perseverance that underpins its ethos.
Noordwyk Martial Arts Academy is more than just a place to train in karate, it is a platform for empowerment and advancement.

The 29-year-old Chita's mission is to go beyond traditional martial arts teachings and provide individuals, especially children, with a positive path for personal growth and character development.
The Academy prides itself on providing instruction in a harmonious combination of hard and soft techniques in a safe semi-contact environment with an emphasis on traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate.
Tsita has a strong focus on limiting physical contact, ensuring participants ranging from children to seniors aged 75-80 can take part in a friendly and safe environment.

“At the heart of the academy's vision is the belief that many people with great potential need guidance and direction to escape negative influences,” Chita explained.
“By channeling energy and cultivating character, we envision a future where students transcend boundaries and achieve greatness.”
The path to teaching martial arts is full of obstacles, especially for beginners, but Chita knows the importance of consistency and perseverance.
“These attributes are essential not only to karate but to life itself and provide the foundation for our students to grow and excel.”
As Nordwick Martial Arts Academy continues to grow, Zita looks to the future with an increasing number of students and the introduction of virtual classes to cater to audiences around the world.
“With an eye towards regular competitions and promotion examinations, the academy is poised to make a major impact on the martial arts world,” he added.
Additionally, the Academy is looking for sponsors and partners who can provide training materials and larger venues.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 4 and up.
