Royce White, an outspoken former NBA first-round pick, has fearlessly expressed his unwavering support for Donald Trump.
Ahead of Trump’s anticipated speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Thursday, White is reminding people why he’s standing for Donald Trump in the upcoming election, despite past and current scrutiny.

NBA insider “Scoop B” Robinson caught up with Royce White — who’s now playing for the Ice Cube’s Big 3 Basketball league in Baltimore, Maryland.
Scoop asked the hooper about his intended message behind writing “Trump” on his head for others to witness and other strong political messages.
LISTEN:
“The message is, I think Donald Trump would be a better presidential candidate. I don’t even think it’s close. The issue is not even about the presidency. The issue is about the ideas.
For White, choosing to vote for Trump means supporting his vision of a united America rather than blindly aligning with a political party.
In recent years, White has fought to bring back common sense to an increasingly divided nation.
During games, White wears messages like “Trump 2024” and “Free the Uighurs” on the side of his head, the latter of which has long been a thorn in the side of the NBA's side because the league continues to receive funding from China (the modern-day purveyor of the genocide against the Uighurs) while supporting social causes in the United States.
White, who is also running for the U.S. Senate, addressed current President Joe Biden's contentious issue of border security and made a sharp point about electing a president who will respect America's unique constitutional rights.
He added, “The idea that 'citizenship' is valuable must mean a lot to black people. Without citizenship, you don't have rights. Why would a black person want to exchange their national rights, their constitutional rights, for global rights? Are you a world citizen? Are you a citizen of the whole world? Absolutely not. You are not a citizen of the whole world. There is no such thing as world citizenship.”
“It's a constitutional right. Without borders, you don't have a country. Without a country, you're not a citizen. If you're not a citizen, you don't have rights. It comes down to these fundamental issues. It's not about Trump or Biden as individuals. It's about mindset.”
White believes that Trump can once again rid Washington of corrupt politicians, which is why she has boldly publicly voiced her support for Trump, despite facing much criticism.
“Yes, I'm done with the Democrats. We're done with them,” White added.
