You don't have to travel to Paris for this year's Summer Olympics: you can enjoy all the festivities and competitive fun right here in Columbus.
Check out these ways you can experience the competitive spirit of the Paris Olympics starting on July 26th without leaving your hometown:
July 21 — Bent Can Summer Olympics (5354 Center Street)
On July 21 from noon to 4 p.m., Crooked Can Brewing Co. will host the Crooked Can Summer Olympics, open to those 21 and older, where teams of two will compete in a variety of activities, including cornhole and bucket ball, for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, as well as a best dressed award. Participants in the event will be assigned a country to represent upon registration and are expected to dress accordingly.
Registration is $15 per person and includes one drink ticket for one Crooked Can draft beer.

August 1st — Paris Olympics celebrations featuring La Chatelaine (627 High Street)
Local nonprofits, the Worthington Partnership and La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro, are teaming up to host a Paris Olympics-themed celebration and fundraiser.
The event will be held after hours at La Chatelaine in Worthington from 6-8 p.m. on August 1 and will feature French-style hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a DJ and an optional Historic District Server Challenge with a chance to win prizes.
The challenge, which costs $50 per person or $175 for a team of four, is a speed race around Old Worthington to see who can carry a tray of food to the finish line the fastest.
According to an Instagram post on July 8, people attending the event dressed in Olympic costumes were post Worthington Partnership guests will also receive a free drink.

Pickleball at Land-Grant Brewing Company (98 McDonwell Street)
For those looking for a little friendly competition, Land Grant Brewing Company's pickleball courts are a great option. The courts are located on the brewery's Franklinton campus in Gravity Park, just steps from the main taproom, and are available to rent by the hour all summer long.
Each pickleball court can be rented for one hour per group, with optional ball and paddle rentals, has its own private bungalow, seats up to eight people, is pet-friendly all day, and is child-friendly until 8pm.
The brewery also hosts a pickleball league throughout the spring and summer, as well as food trucks including Mikey's Late Night Slice, Ray Ray's Barbeque, DoDo Donuts and Hai Poke.
Land-Grant pickleball courts are open Monday through Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Thursday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, Friday through Saturday from 11:00 am to late, and Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
