Best Prime Day Apple deals

A four-pack of Apple AirTags sell for $99 at full price, though they frequently sell for $80. Right now for Prime Day, they’re down to $75. We think these are the best Bluetooth trackers you can buy if you’re an iPhone user. They rely on Apple’s vast Find My network that calls on every nearby iPhone to anonymously pinpoint an AirTag’s location. We found their locating features to be eerily accurate.

Apple
The Apple Watch Series 9 has been discounted to $280 for Prime Day. The Series 9 adds an upgraded SiP, on-device Siri processing and a handy Double Tap gesture feature that makes it easier to interact with the Watch’s UI even when you can’t tap its touchscreen.
We consider the Series 9 to be the best smartwatch available today, period, and it’s a no-brainer accessory for iPhone owners. If you want to spend less and get most of the code features found here, you should consider the more affordable Apple Watch SE.

Apple
Apple’s AirPods Pro have dropped to $169 for Prime Day. They have excellent ANC, good sound quality with spatial audio support and hands-free Siri access. The latest model has a wireless charging case with a USB-C port and MagSafe compatibility.
The Pros are the best pair of wireless earbuds that Apple sells and one of our top picks overall. They’ll be hard to beat if you live in the Apple ecosystem and appreciate the conveniences provided by the buit-in H1 chip.

The AirPods Max are down to a new low of $395, which is roughly $85 off their average street price on Amazon in recent months and $154 off Apple’s list price.
We gave this pair a review score of 84 when it arrived way back in December 2020. Despite its age, the Max remains one of the more premium sets of wireless headphones you can buy. It sounds impressively detailed and balanced, its aluminum frame looks and feels high-end and its ANC is still among the strongest on the market. Battery life is OK at roughly 20 hours per charge, and its Apple-Watch-style digital crown is more responsive than typical touch controls. Most (but not all) of the usual AirPods features are still here, too, from hands-free Siri to Find My tracking to faster pairing and device switching with other Apple hardware. The metal design is fairly hefty, however, and it weirdly lacks a power button, instead relying on a flimsy “case” to enter a low-power mode. You’ll still need to be an Apple loyalist to get the most out of it. But with this discount, it’s much more competitive.
It’s worth noting that we may see a revised AirPods Max by the end of 2024, according to past reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, possibly around the launch of the next iPhone. That said, the new model isn’t expected to be a massive overhaul: Gurman says the only major change will be a swap to USB-C for charging and wired playback. The current set uses Lightning. If you can live with that, it’s still worth considering at this price.

Apple
The 10th-gen iPad has dropped to $299 for Prime Day. It’s the best iPad for those on a budget thanks to its modern design, USB-C charging, solid battery life and solid performance for the price. It’s even compatible with an optional folio keyboard if you want to turn it into a productivity machine.
While we recommend the latest iPad Air for most people it’s hard to beat the value of the 10th-gen model, especially when you can snag it on sale like this.

Amazon’s smallest smart speaker, the Echo Dot, has dropped to $25 for Prime Day. It’s one of the best smart speakers you can get right now thanks to its compact design, physical button controls that compliment voice commands and its solid sound quality for its size.
The Kids version is also on sale for $28 for this sale.

The Echo Show 8 has dropped to $85 for Prime Day. This is our current top pick for the best smart display with Amazon’s Alexa thanks in part to its 8-inch touchscreen, 13MP camera that supports auto-framing for better video chats and its built-in Zigbee smart home hub.
The 2023 model supports Visual ID, which will show personalized information on the device’s display depending on who’s using it, and video streaming from Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and other services.

The base Kindle is on sale for $85 for Prime Day. It’s our top pick for the best budget ereader out there, and it’s an even better value when you can snag it on discount. In addition to giving you access to Amazon’s vast Kindle ebook library, the entry-level Kindle has a good number of page customization options (for text size, font, margins, etc) and Audible integration, which lets you listen to Audible audiobooks if you have a pair of Bluetooth headphones.

Sony
The Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are on sale for $298 right now. They excel thanks to their excellent sound quality and ANC, improved design, 30-hour battery life and handy extra features like multi-device connectivity and Speak to Chat.
These are our top pick for the best headphones on the market today — it doesn’t get much better than the XM5. If you’re on a tight budget and still want the core features in these cans, consider the previous version, the Sony WH-1000XM4.

The Anker Soundcore Space A40 is back down to $49, which is a deal we’ve seen a few times in recent months but still ties an all-time low. The pair has typically sold for $59 for most of 2024. The Space A40 tops our guide to the best budget wireless earbuds due to its impressive ANC, wireless charging and multi-device pairing support, comfy fit and 8-10 hours of battery life. You can get more detailed audio quality for more money, but the A40’s warm sound should please most by default, and you can customize the profile through a helpful companion app. The main trade-offs are its mediocre call quality and lack of wear detection; the latter means your music won’t auto-pause when you remove an earbud.

Amazon Prime Day is finally here and you can pick up a pair of Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds for just $120 as part of the Prime Day deals. That’s a discount of $80 and a record-low price for the well-reviewed buds.
The Pixel Buds Pro made our list of the best wireless earbuds for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we love the sound. These earbuds offer deep and punchy bass, which is a rarity with this class of device. They also have decent ANC, reliable touch controls and wireless charging. There are also some added convenience features for those already tied to the Android and Pixel ecosystems.

Beats
You can pick up the Beats Fit Pro earbuds for just $150 right now during the Prime Day sale. These are our top picks for the best headphones for running thanks to their comfortable, IPX4 design, great sound quality with adaptive EQ, good ANC and transparency mode and solid battery life.

Sony
The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds have been discounted to $228 for Prime Day. The XM5 earbuds stand out thanks to their improved design, good sound quality, impressive ANC and special features like adaptive sound and Speak to Chat.
These are the best true wireless earbuds to get at the moment. Sony packs in more features here than most other companies do in their flagship offerings, and these buds are representative of that.
$228 at Amazon
Bose
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are on sale for $229 right now. Bose has consistently provided the best wireless earbuds for noise cancellation, and the QC Ultra are the latest and our top pick at the moment. In addition to stellar ANC, these buds support spatial audio, gesture controls for volume adjustment and a formidable battery life.

Best Prime Day TV deals
LG
The 55-inch version of is on sale for $1,097. While that’s not the absolute best price we’ve ever seen, it’s $200 to $300 below the set’s typical going rate. This is a 2023 model, but at this price it’s a nice value if you want the deep contrast, wide viewing angles and fast motion response of a quality OLED panel. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports than can play up to 4K/120Hz with a PlayStation 5 or Xbox, plus it supports Dolby Vision HDR, unlike rival models from Samsung. Its picture quality isn’t absolutely top-of-the-line these days, but it’ll still feel like a massive upgrade if you’re coming to OLED for the first time.
The 2024 version of this set, the , is available now and looks to offer slightly improved HDR brightness and color volume. It can also play up to 144Hz in 4K, though that’s only really useful if you plan to hook up a gaming PC to your TV. Since the 55-inch C4 costs several hundred dollars extra right now, the C3 is a better value while it’s still on sale.

Samsung
A number of Samsung’s The Frame TVs are on sale for Prime Day, including a 50-inch model for $898. The set has gone for a bit less a few times before, but this is still about $300 off its average street price in recent months. The 55-inch version is also on sale for $998, a roughly $400 discount. Both of these deals come bundled with your choice of a colored cover for the TV’s bezels.
You’d mainly get a Frame TV for the aesthetic, as the whole thing is designed to mount flush against a wall and hang like a piece of art. You can even use it to display actual artwork and photos when you aren’t watching something. Its image quality is still decent as well, though it’s not on the level of the best LED TVs in this price range, as there’s no mini-LED backlight or local dimming feature to improve its contrast. The 50-inch model has a basic 60Hz refresh rate as well; the larger models bump that up to 120Hz.
The prices above apply to the last-generation Frame TV, which has the model code LS03B. Samsung released a revised model (the LS03D) earlier this year, which gets a bit brighter in HDR according to some reviews and can save a bit more energy when displaying artwork. The older version is a better value while it’s cheaper, but if you must have the latest, bundles that pair the new set with a bezel cover are also on sale. The 43-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch versions there are down to $848, $1,098, $1,198 and $1,698, respectively. All of those are new lows, but we’ll inevitably see them drop further as the year goes on.

Roku
Sonos
The Sonos Ray soundbar has dropped to $219 for Prime Day, which is the best price we’ve seen it. In our testing, it provided good sound quality for both TV audio and music, impressive bass performance for a soundbar of its size and an attractive, compact design.
It earned a spot on our list of the best soundbars thanks to all of those features. Plus, at this sale price, it’s a relatively affordable way to upgrade any TV’s audio.

SAMSUNG
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has dropped to $975 for Prime Day. This is probably overkill for most users, but nevertheless, it’s our top pick for the best premium handset in our best Android phones guide. It stands out for its luxe build quality, speedy performance, excellent cameras and handy new AI tools.
$975 at Amazon
The Google Pixel 8a has dropped to $449 for Prime Day. This is our top pick for the best midrange smartphone you can get right now, as it builds off of the solid foundation found in Google’s Pixel 7a. The 8a boasts a colorful 120Hz OLED touchscreen, excellent cameras, solid performance and a good battery life.

Apple
Our choice of best MacBook overall is down to $750 from $1,099 — the $899 sale price represents an 18 percent discount and there’s an additional $50 coupon that will bring the final price down to $750. This sale is available for the 256GB model with 8GB of RAM and no AppleCare+ included.
Apple’s 2024 MacBook Air has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display that can support one billion different colors. We gave it a 90 in our review thanks to offers like a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, three mics and up to 18 hours of battery life.

Apple
The base 13-inch M2 MacBook Air has dropped to a record low of $799. This was already our favorite budget MacBook and now it’s an even better deal at this price.
While you can get the technically more powerful M3 MacBook Air now, most people won’t notice the performance differences between the two. If you’re coming from an older, Intel-based MacBook, any M-series machine will feel like a big upgrade. This M2 laptop excels thanks to its stellar performance, excellent screen and thin-and-light design.

Will Lipman Photography for Engadget
The Razer Blade 15 with an Intel Core i7-13800H processor, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU is on sale for $1,600. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen for this config and $100 less than its street price over the past couple of months. This model includes a 15.6-inch, 16:9 display with 1440p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The Blade 15 is the “premium” recommendation in our gaming laptop buying guide. It’s more than a year old at this point, and even with this discount, it’s not as good of a value as our overall top pick (the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, which isn’t a part of Amazon’s sale). Instead, you’d get a Blade for its design, which is marked by clean lines and a sturdy, all-black aluminum finish. (It is a fingerprint magnet, though.) This config is powerful enough to play modern AAA games in 1080p or 1440p beyond that — again, the latter may require you to tune down settings in certain games to see very high frame rates — and it comes with a healthy array of ports. You can also upgrade its storage and memory. It can get hot, and its battery life isn’t great, but it’s at least a little more appealing at this price if you want a 15-inch gaming machine and are particular about your notebook’s look and feel.
Another config with an RTX 4060 GPU is on sale for $1,300, which is a new low and $200 less than the street price we’ve seen over the last month. That model is meant more for 1080p gaming, however, and it won’t be as futureproof with AAA games going forward.

Anker
Anker’s MagGo Power Bank is our choice for the best MagSafe-compatible power bank on the market. For Prime Day, the device is down to $63 from $90 — a 30 percent deal that brings it to just a few dollars off its all-time low price.
Anker’s MagGo Power Bank was one of the earliest Qi2-certified devices on the market, and this early 2024 model is impressive, to say the least. The 10,000mAh and 15W capacities provide you with fast wireless charging. The power bank can bring an iPhone 15 from near-dead to half-charged in just 45 minutes — a feat some of our other top contenders have taken twice as long to do.

Sonos
The Sonos Era 100 speaker is on sale for $199 right now, which is an all-time low. In our testing, it impressed with excellent sound quality (along with even better stereo-pair sound), easier TruePlay tuning, Bluetooth and in-line support and a simple yet attractive design.
It’s on our list of the best smart speakers you can get thanks to its Alexa compatibility and it’s ability to work with Sonos’ own voice assistant. However, you don’t have to use any voice assistant at all if you don’t want to (and it notably does not support the Google Assistant).

Dyson
This Dyson V15 Detect Plus vacuum has dropped to a record low of $570 for Prime Day. The V15 Detect is our top pick for the best cordless vacuum you can get right now because it has fantastic suction power (making it great for pet owners as well as anyone else), a lightweight design and good battery life — plus it comes with a number of useful attachments.

Dyson
You can snag an Amazon-exclusive bundle of the Dyson Airwrap for $125 off thanks to Prime Day deals. Normally priced at $675, this bundle is now on sale for $550 for Prime Day.
In addition to the Airwrap and its storage case, the bundle includes six attachments: two long barrels, three brushes and the Coanda smoothing dryer, plus a filter cleaning brush, a detangling comb and another storage bag. That’s enough to achieve a bunch of different hairstyles with one tool, and you get a couple of ways to store the machine when you’re not using it or when you need to travel with it.

iRobot
The Roomba Essentials Combo machine is on sale for $190 for Prime Day. This model ups the ante a bit by adding in mopping capabilities to the usual robot-vacuum formula. It’s the most affordable vac-and-mop machine that iRobot makes, and it’s an even better buy at this sale price.
Admittedly, not everyone will need (or want) mopping capabilities in their robovac. But it’s a convenient feature to have, especially if you have a mix of hard and carpeted floors in your home.

Shark
This Shark AI Ultra robot vacuum is half off and down to only $294.99 right now. A version of one of our top picks for the best robot vacuums, it supports cleaning schedules and home mapping, plus it comes with a self-emptying base that can hold up to 60 days worth of debris. The base is also bagless, so you don’t have to buy and replace proprietary garbage bags in it over time.

TheraGun
The TheraGun Mini 2.0 has dropped to $149 for Prime Day, a sale price that represents a $50 discount. The runners on the Engadget staff appreciate this percussion massage gun for its compact size, three speeds and swappable attachments.
Actual massages are expensive and most people don’t have the time or the funds to get them regularly. Athletes and those who could benefit from giving a little extra love to their muscles will appreciate how easy the TheraGun Mini makes it for them to do it themselves at home.

Fitbit
The Fitbit Charge 6 is on sale for $100 for Prime Day, which is an all-time low. This is the most capable fitness tracker than Fitbit makes, completely with a built-in GPS for mapping outdoor workouts, automatic activity tracking and all-day step, calorie and sleep tracking.
The Charge 6 sits at the top of our list of the best fitness trackers you can get precisely because it has such a comprehensive feature set. It also has a seven-day battery life, so you won’t have to worry about recharging it for days on end.

The Ninja Creami ice cream maker is on sale for $150, which is $50 off the list price and within a dollar of its all-time low. The machine earned a high score of 90 in our review, with our reviewer saying it “makes your frozen dreams come true.”
He liked how quickly and easily it made ice cream, and was impressed with its ability to make other treats, like sorbets and froyo. And even though this took up a bit of space in his small kitchen, it’s something he’s willing to make room for.
