Zachary Lisacher
The Spurs were without fourth-round draft pick Stephon Castle, who missed the remainder of Summer League with a sprained wrist, but Lisacher struggled to capitalize on the points and the Hawks fell to a 79-76 loss.
The 19-year-old scored 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting, to go along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a block, while making just 1-of-7 3-pointers.
Fans on social media found some bright spots in Lisacher's game to be praiseworthy.
Coach Lisacher will be looking for a better performance when the Hawks are back in action on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Dalton Knecht and Bronny James.
Searle v. Shepherd
In a battle between two of the top three draft picks, Shepard outshone Sarr and the Rockets cruised to a 109-91 win over the Wizards.
Shepard finished with 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting, seven assists and six rebounds, and was also a force on the defensive end with five steals and a block, while Sarr finished with eight points on 4-of-14 shooting, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
Shepard's performance has earned him respect from some of the NBA's biggest stars, including Trae Young and Ja Morant, and he's been trending on social media, suggesting he has the makings of a future star for the Rockets.
Meanwhile, Sarr's game left a lot to be desired.
Shepard and the Rockets will be scrambling to prepare for Monday's matchup against the Detroit Pistons, while Sarr and the Wizards face the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
Rob Dillingham
Perhaps the biggest steal of the draft, Rob Dillingham had a big game leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 105-94 win over the Indiana Pacers. The No. 8 pick in the 2024 draft finished with 14 points, eight assists and two steals in the win.
Dillingham displayed his aggressiveness and playmaking ability by creating opportunities for himself and his teammates early and often.
Dillingham's strong performance, especially his passing, earned him praise from fans on social media.
Dillingham and the Timberwolves will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
DJ Burns
Barnes had just four points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes in his Summer League debut on Friday, but he was a bit more productive in Sunday's 112-81 blowout win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Barnes recorded seven points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 14 minutes off the bench.
The former North Carolina State big man showed off his moves in the post.
Fans enjoyed watching Barnes make the most of his playing time on Sunday.
