Before UFC returns to the APEX in Las Vegas, the promotion will travel to Colorado for a fight night featuring Rose Namajunas and Tracy Cortez.
Namajunas (12-6) will be competing in her third fight at flyweight. “Thug Rose” is a former two-time UFC strawweight champion, knocking out Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili to win gold. After losing her flyweight debut to Manon Fiorot, Namajunas looked to bounce back against Amanda Rivas.
Now in her new weight class and in good health, Namajunas hopes to secure a title fight before the end of the year.
Cortez (11-1) is replacing Maycee Barber, who withdrew due to health issues. The No. 11-ranked flyweight is riding an 11-fight winning streak and was scheduled to face Miranda Maverick on July 20.

UFC Denver prelims begin at 7 PM ET. The main card begins at 10 PM ET. Namajunas and Cortez will appear in the Octagon around 12 AM ET, depending on the length of the undercard bouts.

The qualifying rounds are It will air on ESPN+ at 7pm ET.
In the prelims, Julian Erosa, who is 2-2 in his last four fights, will face Christian Rodriguez, who is 4-1 and has won four straight fights since joining the UFC. Abdul Razak Alhassan, who is 2-2 in his last four fights, will face Cody Brundage, who is 2-1 in his last three fights.
UFC Denver will be available to watch in the US on ESPN and ESPN+, and will also be streamed via Fubo, which is offering a free trial.
