The Flats – Georgia Tech Diving will send 11 student-athletes to the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships this season, the NCAA announced this week. The women's championship will be held March 20-23 in Athens, Georgia, and the men's championship will be held March 27-30 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Yellow Jackets tied a school record with nine varsity players in white and gold on the men's side, marking the third time since 2020 that Tech has fielded eight or more men and two women.
2024 Men's NCAA Qualifiers:
- Batur Unru – 200 Free
- Mart Kirabz – 1650 Free
- Leandro Odorici – 100 Breasts
- Bark Saka – 200IM
- Max Fowler – 1m and 3m
- Ricky Barcini – 400 free relay and 800 free relay
- David Gapinski – 400 free relay
- Bitter Sega – 800 Free Relay
- Robin Yeboah – 400 free relay
2024 Women's NCAA Qualifiers:
- Sabin Brisson – 100 Breast and 200 Breast
- Anna Bradescu – Platform and 1 meter
Georgia Tech had strong performances in NCAA zone diving, where Fowler and Bradescu qualified, and a great ACC Championship where they posted multiple qualifying times, broke multiple school records, and placed first on the women's platform and men's.
