The 2024-25 American Hockey League schedule, released Thursday, will see the Milwaukee Admirals play the majority of the season on home ice at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Other takeaways from the schedule include:
The Central Division champions will start the season with three away games against division rivals but finish with three home games against their rivals.
The team will open the season on Friday, Oct. 11 against Grand Rapids, followed by games at Chicago on Oct. 12 and Rockford on Oct. 18, before facing the IceHogs in the already-announced home opener on Oct. 19.
Of the ambitious 16-game stretch between December 30 and February 8, 12 will be played at home.
Extending that period to 10 weekends from Jan. 3 to March 8 would see the Admirals play 16 of their 20 Friday and Saturday games, 14 of which will be at home. While no promotions have been announced, promotion is the main option for the Admirals to schedule post-match concerts.
Milwaukee is scheduled to face the Cleveland Monsters four times, a team they haven't played the past two seasons. Cleveland pushed the eventual Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears to seven games last month in the Eastern Conference Finals. Those games will be played on Nov. 23 and 24 in Cleveland and Dec. 3 and 30 in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee will face the Charlotte Checkers for the first time since 2016-17, traveling on the road on Jan. 14-15 and then at home on Jan. 24-25.
The Admirals will close out the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off Collegiate Showcase at Fiserv Forum with games against Chicago on Dec. 27 and Cleveland on Dec. 30, providing four consecutive nights of activities for hockey fans in downtown Milwaukee between Christmas and New Year's.
The Admirals will return on the road to Henderson, Nevada, on March 28 and 29. The team's inaugural game was a hit with winter break fans, relocates and Wisconsin residents who took advantage of a trip to suburban Las Vegas in January. The Admirals also host the Silver Knights on February 21 and 22.
The Admirals are scheduled to host two “school day” games on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., against Manitoba on Dec. 13 and Texas on March 5.
The Admirals have a three-week road trip in March and April, but will finish the regular season at home against Chicago on April 12, Rockford on April 13 and Chicago again on April 18.
