2024 Men's Soccer Schedule
Fairfax, Virginia – The George Mason University men's soccer team has announced its schedule for 2024. The Patriots are scheduled to play a 16-game regular season schedule, including eight games against Atlantic 10 opponents and eight games at George Mason Stadium.
Head Coach Rich Costanzo He is in his third season since being named the 11th men's soccer coach in Patriots program history.
The Green & Gold will open the regular season with an away game in Annapolis, Maryland (Aug. 22) before playing their home opener against Delaware (Aug. 30) at George Mason Stadium.
The Patriots continue their season-high three-game homestand by hosting Bucknell (Sept. 3) and Howard (Sept. 7).
George Mason will then play a three-game series in Wilmington, North Carolina, against UNCW (Sept. 10), Norfolk, Virginia, against Old Dominion (Sept. 15) and Amherst, Massachusetts (Sept. 21) in its first Atlantic 10 match of the season.
The Patriots will return home for a non-conference game against the College of William and Mary (Sept. 24) before hosting A-10 rival George Washington University (Sept. 28).
George Mason will begin October with a conference game against La Salle University on October 5th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The game against the Explorers will be the first of six games the Patriots will play in October, with three at home and three on the road.
The Patriots will then host Loyola Chicago (Oct. 9) and Duquesne (Oct. 12).
George Mason will travel to College Park, Maryland for a non-conference game against Maryland (Oct. 15), while the Patriots return to league action at St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Oct. 19).
George Mason will play its final home game of the regular season against St. Bonaventure University (October 26) before wrapping up the regular season with a road game against in-state rival Virginia Tech (Nov. 2).
Prior to the start of the regular season, the Patriots will play exhibition games at home against American University (August 11) and Loyola Maryland University (August 17).
