There's no bad blood between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor, but Nate's win over Jorge Masvidal in the boxing ring earned McGregor a whopping $1.6 million.
McGregor and Diaz previously battled it out in the Octagon in two memorable bouts at UFC 196 and UFC 202 in 2016.
In the first bout, Diaz defeated McGregor by submitting him with a rear-naked chokehold in what was the infamous welterweight debut.
But at UFC 202, McGregor got his revenge on Diaz by majority decision, earning a win of his own.
There was a lot of animosity between the two during their time in the Octagon.
McGregor was scheduled to return to the Octagon against Michael Chandler at UFC 303. The bout was scheduled to take place at the end of June and would have been McGregor's first mixed martial arts fight since 2021.
However, McGregor was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury.
McGregor's UFC record remains at 22 wins in 28 fights, with 19 by knockout, one by submission and two by decision for a total of six losses.
Diaz, meanwhile, has a record of 21 wins and 13 losses in 34 mixed martial arts bouts but recently began his professional boxing career.

Diaz lost a unanimous decision to YouTuber Jake Paul in August 2023.
But last night, Diaz faced fellow mixed martial artist Masvidal in his second boxing bout, marking Diaz's second pro fight.
Diaz went on to defeat Masvidal by majority decision after a 10-round bout.
The bout not only marked Diaz's first boxing victory, but also earned his old rival McGregor a massive $1.6 million profit.
Before the fight, Notorious revealed on social media that he had placed a $500,000 bet on Diaz winning the fight against Masvidal and explained his reasons.
He wrote, “I'm betting $500,000 that Diaz will win tonight's boxing match. Based on distance, form, experience and using punches alone, I really don't see how Masvidal would give Nate any problems in a boxing ring.”
“They're both just shilling assholes and shilling bitches in a fight, but I think Nate beats him really easily here. The $500,000 will set you back a total of $1.625 million.”
And with Diaz's win, McGregor earned a total of $1.625 million — not a bad day's payday.
Following Diaz's win, a visibly happy McGregor wrote: “The rich get richer!!! Well done Nate, congratulations!”
McGregor later referred to the winnings as “yacht fuel,” while Diaz responded by calling the win a big money day for McGregor.
And Diaz was brief in his post-fight press conference, saying simply: “Great. Good job for us!”
