UFC middleweight contestant Marvin Vettori is disappointed to miss his scheduled fight with Brendan Allen due to injury, but that doesn't stop him from badmouthing his potential opponent. Ta.
Vettori (19-6-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) was scheduled to face Allen (23-5 MMA, 11-2 UFC) in the headliner of UFC Fight Night on April 6, but due to injury. Due to this, he was absent.
Allen recently posted a video on his Instagram account, Reels, of him and Vettori side by side at a UFC event, promoting the upcoming main event. Allen captioned it, “Let's see if this works!” #I'm there. ” After news of the cancellation broke, Allen created another post calling for a matchup against another top middleweight contender.
Apparently that didn't sit well with Vettori.
“Italian Dream” began by candidly confirming the news on Thursday, apologizing to fans and explaining why he had withdrawn from the match. However, later in the video, Vettori cuts a promo from Allen, accusing him of talking trash while promising to meet soon inside and outside the Octagon.
“And now, against this damn opponent, the fight is decided,” Vettori said in a video posted to Instagram. “I'm not going to hide it anymore. I know I'll see you, cage or not. See you soon. I'm tired of your bullshit. When I sit down at my computer, I turn into the Hulk.” But when you're like the quiet girl, everyone smiles and tries to be nice. I already punked you once, I know that. I mean, they knocked me out twice. You know what happened there, that funny looking guy. He looks like he came out of an episode of Griffin.
“It's on. I'm your big man. You'll beg me for another shot. I don't mind fighting you. Do me a favor. Just because you look interesting to me.” , I'll smash your face. That's it, I'll see you soon.”
