2024 already has some great boxing matches lined up for fans to enjoy. Ray Ford's right hook over Otabek Kormatov was an unexpected win. Eduardo Nunez's knockout over Shavkatjon Rakhimov was equally impressive. But the best matches of 2024 may yet be yet to come.
Obviously, many of the upcoming fights will be highly publicized. Jake Paul is arguably the biggest entertainer in boxing right now. He is arguably the most highly anticipated, with two fights scheduled for this year.
Plus there will be some title bouts for those who want to see the best fighters go head to head. Here are the biggest boxing events to watch in the second half of 2024.

Best Matches to Watch
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury
The fight is so good that it's warranting a second bout. The two have already agreed to a rematch, scheduled for December 21st of this year, after Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in March to become the undefeated heavyweight champion. Of course, the two were already under contract for two fights before the first bout, but a second bout should be even more appealing to fans after the highly anticipated first bout was a back-and-forth affair that ended in a split decision.
Jaron Ennis vs. David Avanesyan
Jaron Ennis will put his unbeaten record on the line in front of his hometown crowd in less than a week on July 13. Ennis won the welterweight title in January 2023 and retained it with a 10th-round knockout win over Royman Villa in July 2023.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson
How can you write about boxing without mentioning this fight? It was highly publicized, talked about everywhere, and controversial (it had to be postponed due to Tyson's medical issues). Should a 58-year-old man step into the ring against a 27-year-old? Would be able to convince people that Jake Paul is a real boxer by beating a 58-year-old Mike Tyson? Is Paul interested in getting that kind of recognition, or is he just looking to fight in the fights that everyone wants to see?
There's a lot of interest in this matchup, but it's puzzling. It's not even a title match, yet it's the main event of a show that features title matches. Amazing.
