Here's the horrifying moment a boxing referee was hit with a brutal punch in the face as he tried to stop the bout between Keyshawn Davis and Miguel Madueno on Saturday night.
The lightweight bout took place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey and featured an intense battle between Davis and Madueno that nearly led to a clash between rounds.
The shocking incident happened at the end of the sixth round when both fighters chose to continue arguing with each other rather than return to their corners after the bell rang.
Madueno was the main instigator at the start, and the referee was forced to restrain him to stop him launching attacks on his opponent.
The two men closed in and managed to get face-to-face before Davis landed a punch that lightly hit Madueno in the head.

In response, the Mexican fighter tried to fight back but accidentally hit the referee, causing him to stumble backwards.
The referee managed to get to his feet but was visibly shaken by the blows, after which both fighters returned to their corners with trainers.
Soon after, the referee went to Madueno's corner and was heard saying to the camera, “Who hit me?”, while commentators speculated as to whether Madueno would be disqualified.
In the end, Madueno escaped the fight thanks to a referee error, but lost by unanimous decision after the 10th round.
With the result, Davis maintained his unbeaten record (11-0) while Madueno, who had lost three of his past seven bouts, improved to 31-3.
