Former UFC champion Holly Holm responds to Dana White's plea for retirement.

“The Pastor’s Daughter” (15-7 MMA) faced Kayla Harrison (17-1 MMA) in a bantamweight bout at UFC 300 in April of this year and lost.
Former champion Holm is 42 years old and has won three of her last six fights inside the Octagon.
UFC CEO Dana White commented on Holly's performance in the post-fight press conference:
“I'd like to see Holly retire.”
Holly Holm spoke to MMA Junkie about her disappointment following her historic UFC 300 loss.
“It's upsetting. It's kept me up at night because I know my skills are so much more than my performance. It's how it is. You can't go back and change the past. You just have to be patient, accept it, keep working and move forward.”
Holm continued:
“What's really frustrating is that I had a great camp, no injuries, I was healthy, my training partners were great, my coaches were great, and I just let everybody down. I'm the one who missed the fight, and I let everybody down, including myself. So it's really frustrating.”
When asked about the future, Holly Holm said:
“I just train because that's all I can do. Take each day as it comes. Tomorrow is not promised in life or in sport, so I just train and in life I always choose to be positive and motivated. Let's see what tomorrow brings.”
Finally, Holm denied retiring, saying:
“I'm always ready to play. I'm definitely not ready to be done. I know I'm still healthy and capable. I'm just upset that I missed out.”
Apparently, this fighter isn't going anywhere, at least not of her own volition. Who do you think Holly Holm will fight next?
