Michael Page isn't discouraged by his loss to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303.
Former Bellator contender Paige (22-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) suffered his first defeat inside the Octagon last weekend, losing by unanimous decision to Garry (15-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It was a big moment for “Venom,” who won his promotional debut against Kevin Holland in March, but he was unable to overcome the hurdle.
MVP had been quiet since Saturday's loss to Garry, but he finally took to social media on Thursday to share his thoughts and sounded positive (via Instagram).

After nearly submitting to Garry's rear-naked choke in the first round of their welterweight bout at UFC 303, Page rallied to win the second round, and though the third round was closely fought, the judges ultimately scored the bout in Garry's favor.
After the event, UFC CEO Dana White said the Page vs. Garry bout was a draw.
It is currently unclear when Page, 37, will return to competition.
