Team USA will be outfitted with some of the NBA's biggest stars and head to the 2024 Paris Olympics against one of the most competitive fields in history.
The U.S. team, which has won four consecutive Olympic gold medals, is the favorite to win again this time, but could face stiff competition from teams such as Canada and France.
Among the players playing for Team USA are LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard. The team will once again challenge for a medal under head coach Steve Kerr after finishing fourth at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The U.S. team will gather in Las Vegas for a training camp and play an exhibition match against Canada, which features NBA stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jamal Murray, on July 10. They will then play two warm-up games in Abu Dhabi and two more in London.
Upon arriving in France, the team will play three Group C matches in Lille on July 28 (Serbia), July 31 (South Sudan) and August 3 (Olympic Qualifier winners). The knockout rounds will then move to Paris, where the quarter-finals (August 6), semi-finals (August 8) and gold medal match (August 10) will be played at the Accor Arena.
