Hayley Williams opened for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam today.
The “Ain't It Fun” singer wore a pair of Puma boxing-inspired boots in a trendy blue and cream color. The sporty style featured a blue and cream leather and suede upper, a zipper closure at the back, lace-up detailing in matching blue hues at the front, gold Puma logo detailing on the tongue and side of the shoe, and an almond-shaped toe.
Boxing shoes have slowly started to gain popularity over the past few years. The style coincides with the popular athleisure trend that has taken fashion and footwear by storm. Not specifically designed for the boxing ring, the silhouettes are often made from leather and feature a lace-up closure.
Brands like Beshka, Jaded London, Adidas, and Marine Serre have all taken athletic style and updated it with modern designs that reflect each brand's aesthetic, and fashionable people have started wearing boxing boots with a variety of casual pieces, including skirts and joggers.
As per usual, the grunge lover wore a blue mini skirt and blue see-through tights to match her shoes, topped off with a yellow T-shirt with a heart graphic on the front. To complete the look, the rock star accessorized with a variety of silver jewelry.
Swift's concert at Paris' La Défense Arena marks the start of the international leg of her Hellas Tour, which began last year and is scheduled to run through December 2024. The tour itself is scheduled to play 152 shows across five continents. In between tour dates, Swift took time off to release her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Paramore have been announced as the opening act for 51 of the tour's European dates.
