NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University football has announced its 2024 schedule, which will feature six home games at Jess Dow Field.
The Owls will open their 2024 schedule with a home game against Shepherd on Thursday, Sept. 5, and will host their first “Welcome To The Nest” night. The first home game of the season will feature promotions and giveaways for SCSU students to kick off the season. The Owls will then host American International for a non-conference game on Friday, Sept. 13, and play “Friday Night Under The Lights.”
SCSU will then play two away games, traveling to Bentley in the Northeast-10 opener on Sept. 20 and to St. Anselm on Sept. 27.
Southern University will then host Assumption University for Homecoming on Oct. 5, a gala and celebration for SCSU graduates that is the Owls' largest annual event. After a road game at Post University on Oct. 12, the Owls will compete for the Elm City Cup at home against the University of New Haven on Oct. 19, host Frankling Pierce University on Oct. 26, and close out their home schedule on Senior Day against Pace University on Oct. 26.
After a week off, the Owls will close out the season on Nov. 16 with an away game at American International.
