The film is directed by Filipino filmmaker Pedring Lopez. JThe action film is set in Korea and parts of Southeast Asia and stars Yayan Ruhian. Raid and The boy kills the world.
The film will be produced by Philippines' Black Ops Studios Asia and Singapore's Very Tay Media, and co-produced by Asia Media Alliance. This marks the second collaboration between Black Ops and Very Tay, following the upcoming martial arts vampire horror. Blood passageAlso directed by Lopez.
J The film centers on a Korean crime boss who travels to the Philippines to rescue his kidnapped mother and becomes embroiled in a battle with a rival gang.
The lead Korean actor has yet to be announced, but filming is expected to begin later this year, subject to casting availability.
The cast includes Indonesian martial arts star Ruhian. Gareth Evans Raid and The Raid 2,that is Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Beyond the Skyline, John Wick: Chapter 3 and The boy kills the worldwill premiere in Toronto in 2023. He recently finished filming the sequel. Skylines: Warpath.
Lopez completes filming on prison drama series Cell Block During April.
John Radall, an Australian at the Asia Media Alliance, said Dev Patel Monkey Man and equalis involved as producer and cinematographer.
