ONE Championship hits Bangkok's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on 5 July for a primetime event in the United States with a fight card packed with high-stakes matchups chock-full of action.
With a fascinating ONE Interim Lightweight MMA World Title bout at the helm, ONE Fight Night 23: Ok vs. Rasulov will be packed with striking, grappling and mixed martial arts action, giving fans plenty of reason to tune in to watch on Prime Video.
Apart from the main bout, there are three can't miss matches that have the potential to steal the show.
#1 Nico Carillo vs. Saemapetch
In the bantamweight Muay Thai division, No. 1 ranked fighter Nico “King of the North” Carillo will face No. 4 ranked fighter Saemapetch Fairtex in a highly anticipated bout that could determine the next ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title challenger.
The Scottish fighter has had an incredible run during his time in ONE, rocketing up the rankings with three consecutive knockout wins.
The 25-year-old brawler recently defeated long-time reigning champion Non-Oh Hama in his latest bout, establishing himself as a genuine threat in one of the organization's most talented weight classes.
But he'll be facing a serious challenge against Thai fan favourite Saemapetch.
Known for his explosive punching power and fearless fighting attitude, the Fairtex Training Center fighter will undoubtedly be eager to end Carillo's winning streak in front of a raucous crowd in Bangkok.
Saemapetch is a veteran who has challenged for a world title before and is eager to do so again.
#2 Luke Lessay vs. Bampala Kouyate
Lower down the card, American sensation Luke “The Chef” Lessay will face France’s Banpara Kouyate in a featherweight Muay Thai bout.
The Iowa native is one of the most creative and versatile strikers in the sport, a skilled technician with great power in every weapon.
After competing in just two thrilling bouts in the world's largest mixed martial arts organization, Lessay has won over many fans with his highly entertaining style and earned himself the No. 5 contender spot in the division.
But Kouyate may have the physical wherewithal to thwart Lessay's hype.
The 29-year-old is a former lightweight who recently won the WMC Muay Thai World Title and his tall build will be sure to push “The Chef” to his limits.
#3 Kang Ji-won vs. Kirill Grishenko
Heavyweight giants “Mighty Warrior” Kang Ji-won and Kirill Grishenko will clash in a mixed martial arts bout that likely won't require a referee.
Kang, on the other hand, is a devastating knockout artist with a 100% finishing rate, and the Korean brawler knows that a win over the top-tier Grishenko would prove he is a world title contender in the division.
Meanwhile, the Belarusian is a world-class wrestler with incredible physical strength, legitimate submission skills and fearsome stand-up power.
Given the massive size of both fighters and their penchant for inflicting damage, fans can expect some nail-biting action for as long as this match lasts.
