Milky Way Tech Hub hosted a workshop series in June to train students on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. These workshops aim to foster a more inclusive and positive culture and educate and empower people of color in preparation for the future of education in Milwaukee.
These workshops will cover the fundamentals of AI and tools such as ChatGPT, facilitating interactive learning and hands-on exploration.
Milky Way Tech Hub workshops will be conducted in collaboration with corporate partners and community organizations, including American Family, Northwestern Mutual, Summerfest Tech and Social X, to provide insights into real-world applications of AI.
Opportunities offered to participants included:
1. Comprehensive AI Insights: Understand diverse applications of AI in various domains through expert-led discussions.
2. Hands-on skills: Gain practical technical skills using no-code tools in personal and professional projects.
3. Valuable Networking: Connect with industry leaders and innovators to foster opportunities in the technology sector.
4. Youth Empowerment: Capture young people's attention with easy-to-understand AI concepts and spark their interest in technology careers.
5. Strategic Implementation: Learn how to integrate AI into your technology ideas for real-world applications and efficiency.
