Moon & Rock are back to preview City's away game against the Vancouver Whitecaps later in the weekend, but we'll mainly be talking about the draw in last weekend's City vs. Atlanta game, the more disappointing aspects of the time wasted on the referees, and the positive feelings we have about the young people in the program.
- The refereeing was so annoying that I have to tell you again (sorry…)
- Today's lesson: Hockey helps soccer
- Parker was fined for “commenting” on a hot topic moment during the match and will now be conducting his first ever “Football 101” poll.
- Jay Reed was outstanding in his first MLS start, and Bradley Carnell agreed after the game.
- Moon had positive things to say about the defense.
- This is not the week City have to deal with an injury in attack, this time it's Klaus.
- Did Kayden Glover do enough to earn playing time in place of the injured Krause?
- Thor played his best game* (*this was subject to a lot of strings attached, but still…)
- People need to trust the training.
- The kids are more than okay, these kids are amazing
- The importance of pyramids and powerful plays
- (Congratulations to CITY Academy for winning the Gateway Conference on Thursday night)
- Thoughts on the Vancouver FC match
- Moon believes the fight will open the door for his offense, but he refuses to say which attack it will explode against…
- What will Saturday's lineup look like with two LBs and STs who are questionable for different reasons?
- Can it be July 18th already?
