SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — As of June 13, the Utah Hockey Club, formerly known as the Arizona Coyotes, officially joined the NHL. Now, the team has announced its preseason schedule.
Starting on September 22nd, there will be two home games and five away games.
The first game will be on September 22nd in Des Moines, Iowa against the St. Louis Blues. The first home game will be on September 23rd against the Los Angeles Kings at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

The team's final preseason game will be a home game against the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 5 at the Maverick Center in West Valley City.
Utah Olympic Oval becomes new temporary training facility
Smith Entertainment Group and the Utah Hockey Club have partnered with the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation to finance a portion of the renovations at Utah Olympic Oval, transforming the 17,400-square-foot space into a state-of-the-art practice facility until a training facility can be built at The Shops at South Town in Sandy, thanks to a multimillion-dollar donation.
