Since the early days when the sport was still not mainstream, the MMA industry has thrived and survived through various websites, forums, and perhaps most importantly, social media platforms.
Fighters interact with fans, each other, and many others through platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, helping outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of athletes.
Following Saturday's UFC on ABC 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, several fighters, both victorious and defeated, along with their coaches, training partners and families, took to social media to react to the bouts and share messages with their supporters.
