The Netherlands currently have 26 points with four games remaining in the season and remain in the running to win the title, but Australia are guaranteed to finish either as champions or second to the Netherlands, either of which would guarantee them a place at the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup in 2026.
The Netherlands women's team won the Women's FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 season last night with a win over Germany. Argentina is currently in second place with 34 points, but Germany, with 28 points, can surpass that total in the coming days with three games remaining this season, and the race to qualify for the upcoming FIH Hockey Women's World Cup 2026 is still on.
