Former two-division champion Conor McGregor, who is set to make his return at UFC 303 next weekend, has vowed to win every fight in the remainder of his mixed martial arts career after a toe injury prevented him from returning to fight Michael Chandler.
McGregor, a former undefeated gold medalist at lightweight and featherweight, has not competed in three years since breaking his left tibia and fibula in the opening round of his showdown with Dustin Poirier and losing by doctor's stoppage in the first round.

McGregor, who was due to return to the welterweight division at UFC 303 during International Fight Week next weekend, has withdrawn from his scheduled bout with Chandler due to a broken toe on his left foot that will keep him out for two months.
McGregor was called a “coward” by current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and criticized by former opponent Rafael dos Anjos for pulling out of UFC 303, and described his injury setback as “heartbreaking.”

“Man man I'm so heartbroken as I was so damn prepared for this fight,” Conor McGregor posted on his official Instagram account. “I want a new Bugatti. How can I justify getting it now without putting this fight on the line? I lost focus, had to train in full gear, stubbed my toe on my elbow and broke my toe. It's going to be a few weeks. I can't justify walking around with a limp again to my team and fans.”
“You should see that walk,” Conor McGregor wrote. “My next walk has to and will be 100% Conor McGregor. The fans deserve it and we are getting close. A little lapse in focus and a nasty injury. That's it. Learned from my lesson and moving forward. I need to get this back. I have to. Two fights left on my contract. Bugatti and yacht on my mind. I'm looking to shine. I need to take it slow.”

“Because I still got the yacht and the Bentley and the mansion and all that stuff,” Conor McGregor continued. “And you know that. But you know me, I'll be back. See you soon. See you at the top. Chandler or now. #McGtheRealBMF #McGregorForever #GoingNowhere.”
Conor McGregor vows to never lose again
Then on Saturday afternoon, McGregor took to social media to vow never to compete with an injury again, and also insisted he would never accept a defeat for the rest of his fighting career.
“I will never go into a fight hurting again and lose again,” Conor McGregor posted on his official X account.
