Nashville, Tennessee – Vanderbilt and Delaware are set to meet on the football field in 2026, with the schools announcing an agreement to play the game on Thursday.
The Blue Hens are scheduled to visit First Bank Stadium on Sept. 12, 2026 for the first meeting between the two teams.

SEC opponents will be swapped out from the 2024 schedule, with Vandy traveling to Alabama, South Carolina, Texas and Tennessee before hosting Auburn, Kentucky, Louisiana State and Missouri.
In 2026, Delaware will join Austin Peay and North Carolina State in a non-conference schedule, with both the Governors and Wolfpack scheduled to make the trip to Nashville.
