The University of Michigan football team is beefing up its recruiting staff at the expense of its rivals.
The Wolverines have hired Ohio State's Erin Dunston, who is the Buckeyes' assistant athletic director of football recruiting and events, as confirmed by Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press. Dunston has been with the Buckeyes since 2021 and served as the program's director of on-campus recruiting. She was recently promoted to her newest role.
Dunston, who has previously attended Kansas and Purdue, was named a “Personnel and Recruiting Staffer to Watch” by On3 in 2022 as he enters his second year with the program.
