New this season, the Southeastern Conference and ESPN have designated television slots for all games from Week 3 onward as a new perk of the new conference broadcast rights deal.
The television start timeslots for weeks 4 through 14 are defined as follows:
· early: Starting 11am-12pm CST
· afternoon: Starts 2:30-3:30pm CST
· night: Starting 5pm-7pm CST
· flex: Matches will be scheduled in the afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m.) and evening (5:00-7:00 p.m.) slots.
The Ole Miss vs. Georgia Southern home game (Sept. 21) will kick off at 6:45 p.m. on the SEC Network. This will be the second meeting ever between the Rebels and Eagles.
The Rebels' SEC opener against Kentucky (Sept. 28) is scheduled to air at 11 a.m. CST on ABC or ESPN. Ole Miss holds a 29-14-1 series advantage over the Wildcats.
October will begin with a road game at South Carolina (Oct. 5). The matchup between the Rebels and Gamecocks has been selected within the flex window and will take place in the afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m.) or evening (5-7 p.m.).
The annual Magnolia Bowl against LSU (Oct. 12) will take place at night (5-7 p.m.) and will be broadcast on the network television. LSU is Ole Miss' second-most-frequent opponent behind Mississippi State.
After the Rebels' first bye week of the 2024 season, Ole Miss will play Oklahoma at home (Oct. 26) then Arkansas in Fayetteville (Nov. 2). Both games are designated for early kickoff windows (11 a.m.-noon).
Ole Miss' home game against Georgia (Nov. 9) is assigned to the flex window (2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m.). It will be the Bulldogs' first visit to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium since 2016.
The Rebels and Florida Gators (Nov. 23) will meet for just the fourth time in the last 20 years. The Nov. 23 game will begin at 11 a.m. Central Standard Time and will be broadcast on ABC or ESPN.
For all windows listed (early, afternoon, evening and flex), exact start times within the window will be confirmed up to six days in advance unless otherwise noted below. Fans and viewers looking for more information on the SEC and this new era of ESPN can visit SECNetwork.com/sec-on-abc-and-espn.
