Grammy Award-winning singer and NFL legend to join sports commentators mike tirico The trio announced that they will be hosting the opening ceremony. Appearing on The Tonight Show jimmy fallon Tuesday evening.

When Jimmy Fallon said he would be watching from home, Tirico asked Fallon if he would like to host the Olympics closing ceremony with him. “Are you serious? Is this real? I'm in! I'm in!” Fallon replied excitedly.

Live NBC coverage of the ceremony will begin July 26 at noon ET on NBC and Peacock.
