Light heavyweight Atif Obertton (11-0, 9 KOs) of Philadelphia defeated Harry Keenan-Cruz (8-5, 4 KOs) by sixth-round knockout at Boxlove Promotions’ “Night of Champions” boxing event at the Caribe Royale Hotel.
Oberton controlled the fight from the start, pushing forward and landing decisive left uppercuts that forced the referee to stop the bout at 2 minutes, 23 seconds into the sixth round.
“I wanted to go out there tonight and put in a great performance,” Oberton said. “I got the knockout win and I'm ready to take my career to the next level. I'll be back in the gym next week and hopefully back in the ring before the summer is over.”
In the co-main event, heavyweight Herrick Lewis (5-0, 3 KOs) defeated Brandon Carmack (7-5-3, 4 KOs) by knockout in the sixth round. Lewis knocked Carmack down twice early in the fight and ended it with an overhand left before the referee stopped the bout at 1 minute, 14 seconds into the sixth round.
“Carmack fought me for six rounds and showed me his determination, but I showed the world my skills and my power,” Lewis said. “I'm ready to take on all the big names in the heavyweight division.”
Caribe Royale Managing Director Amaury Piedra praised the event, highlighting Carlos de Leon Castro's impressive debut.

Chavez Barrientes (9-0, 6 KOs) defeated Daniel Olea (13-10-3, 5 KOs) by unanimous decision in a six-round featherweight bout, with the scorecards scoring it 60-54 and 59-54 for Barrientes twice.
Corey Marksman (9-0-1, 7 KOs) defeated Jonathan Perez (41-41, 33 KOs) by knockout in the first round of a six-round lightweight bout. A left hook to the body ended the bout at 1 minute, 44 seconds into the first round.
Jocson Blanco (6-0, 4 KOs) defeated Dante Concepcion (1-2-1) by technical knockout in the third round of a four-round welterweight bout. The referee stopped the bout at 2:00 of the third round.
Carlos de Leon Castro (1-0, 1 KO) defeated Christian Reid (0-6) by first-round knockout in a four-round super featherweight bout. Reid was knocked down three times before the bout was stopped at 2 minutes 18 seconds into the first round.
Jonathan Gonzalez (20-0-1, 16 KOs) defeated Edward Ulloa Diaz (14-6, 11 KOs) by knockout in the seventh round of a 10-round middleweight bout. Gonzalez was knocked down in the first round and Diaz was knocked down in the sixth round before being knocked out at 0:22 of the seventh round.
Yoelvis Gomez (7-1, 6 KOs) defeated Marcelo Brzozowski (11-27-4, 4 KOs) by knockout in the sixth round of a six-round middleweight bout. The knockout occurred at 2 minutes and 44 seconds of the sixth round.
Jamar Pemberton (7-1, 5 KOs) defeated Luis Flores (26-31, 21 KOs) by unanimous decision in a six-round welterweight bout. The scorecards scored the bout 60-54 in favor of Pemberton.
Carlos Lebron (3-1, 3 KOs) defeated Miguel Rebrosa (4-21, 2 KOs) by knockout in the second round of their four-round super bantamweight bout. The bout ended with a right hook to the body at 1 minute, 32 seconds into the second round.
