At ONE 167: Tawanchai vs Nattawut 2, Mikey Musumeci got some revenge by submitting former opponent Gabriel Souza, while Cade Ruotolo displayed some classic jiu-jitsu to secure a submission win in his MMA debut.
Mikey and Gabriel faced off in a highly anticipated 145-pound grappling match, a rematch of Gabriel's submission of Mikey in 2021. Here, the match turned around and Musumeci got the submission with a calf slicer secured from a K-guard reversal just a few minutes into the bout.

Cade Ruotolo had a successful MMA debut, defeating Blake Cooper by submission in the first round via rear-naked choke. The Atos black belt, who appeared in a gi and black belt, fought on his feet for the first few minutes before eventually gaining a body lock and back control. The bout took place at 155 pounds.
