A scheduled boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been rescheduled after the former world heavyweight champion experienced health complications last month.
The game, originally scheduled for July 20, has been rescheduled for November 15. The event will take place at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed live on Netflix.
A spokesman for Tyson said the fighter experienced an “ulcer flare-up” while flying from Miami to Los Angeles late last month, leaving him feeling “nauseous and dizzy.” Days later, Netflix announced that Tyson's boxing match with Paul had been postponed because his health issues were limiting his training over the next few weeks and hurting his preparations for upcoming bouts.
“I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time,” Tyson said in a statement released by Netflix. “Unfortunately, my ulcer has recurred and my doctors have advised me to take a few weeks off training to rest and recover.”

Tickets for the original game will remain valid for the new match, but anyone who can't attend the rescheduled game can get a refund at the original point of purchase. To request a refund, Netflix instructs people to email SeatGeek at dallascowboys@seatgeek.com with the subject line “Paul vs. Tyson.”
Nicknamed “The Fiercest Man on Earth,” the 57-year-old Tyson currently has a 50-6 boxing record, with 44 of his victories coming by knockout. He is rated ESPN's hardest hitter in heavyweight history and holds the record for being the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title, but he has not won a fight since 2003 and retired in 2005.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Paul entered the professional boxing world just four years ago. The social media influencer turned boxer has a career record of 9 wins and 1 loss coming into his first bout in 2021 against professional boxer Tommy Fury.
“My goal is to become a world champion,” Paul said, “and now I have my chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of all time, the scariest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This will be the fight of a lifetime.”
