The highly anticipated exhibition bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been rescheduled. The event will take place on Friday, November 15th at the iconic AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and will be streamed worldwide on Netflix.
The bout between the YouTuber-turned-boxer and the former heavyweight champion has been postponed due to a recurrence of an ulcer that Tyson suffered on May 26. The original card will remain intact, with a rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano remaining on the Paul vs. Tyson card and scheduled to be the co-main event on November 15.

When will the Paul vs. Tyson fight be rescheduled?
The game will take place at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Most Valuable Promotions, the organizers of the event, had to carefully plan around the Cowboys' schedule to ensure the event would run smoothly. The new date of November 15 was chosen to avoid any conflict with the Cowboys' football schedule. The Cowboys are scheduled to host the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football on November 18.
“Our team worked diligently with all involved parties to reschedule this landmark fight to a date that would allow both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson to be fully prepared, have equal training time, and allow the event to take place at AT&T Stadium during the Cowboys' season,” Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakissa Vidarian said in a statement. “We appreciate the incredible dedication, cooperation and flexibility of our partners at Netflix and AT&T Stadium. Paul vs. Tyson is the most multigenerational sporting event of all time, and we are committed to providing fans around the world with an unforgettable night of boxing live worldwide on Netflix. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, November 15, in a showdown that will be talked about for generations to come.”
What health risks does Mike Tyson face?
USA Today's Josh Peter wrote, “We interviewed seven doctors who specialize in gastroenterology, which the Mayo Clinic defines as 'preventing, diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal diseases,' which includes treating ulcers.”
None of these doctors personally treat Tyson, but they recommended that he rest for three to six weeks to fully heal. One of the doctors explained that if the ulcer is not treated, it could require emergency surgery, which would be a worst-case scenario for Tyson. Given that Tyson has already postponed his fight, not treating it seems unlikely.
