The Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight is expected to take place before the end of the year.
Most Valuable Promotions announced Friday that the postponed Tyson vs. Paul boxing match will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 15. The event will be streamed live on Netflix.
The bout was originally scheduled to take place on July 20 but was postponed due to reported health issues for Tyson, which ultimately limited his training for the bout and forced a change of plans.
“Our team worked diligently with all involved parties to reschedule this landmark fight to a date that would allow both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson to be fully prepared, have equal training time, and host the event at AT&T Stadium in the middle of the Cowboys season,” Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakissa Vidarian said in a statement.
“We thank our partners at Netflix and AT&T Stadium for their incredible dedication, collaboration and flexibility. Paul vs. Tyson is the most multigenerational sporting event in history, and we are committed to bringing fans around the world this unforgettable night of boxing live worldwide on Netflix. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, November 15 for a showdown that will be talked about for generations to come.”
Paul confirmed the new dates on social media.
Tyson also said he is ready to resume training soon in preparation for the fight and plans to make a strong statement in the process.
“While we had to postpone the fight, I will be resuming training shortly. I would like to thank the medical staff who treated me, MVP, Netflix and AT&T Stadium for working hard to find the best rescheduled date for all involved,” Tyson said.
“We have a new date, but no matter when we fight, the outcome will be the same: Jake Paul gets knocked out. Tune in to AT&T Stadium on Friday, November 15th or watch live on Netflix.”
Friday's announcement also confirmed that the card will still include the highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
Since losing his first professional fight to Tommy Fury in February 2023, Paul has won three straight bouts, including first-round knockouts of Andre August and Ryan Borland and a unanimous decision win over Nate Diaz.
The 57-year-old Tyson will be returning to the boxing ring for the first time since fighting Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout in November 2020.
