KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After three seasons of hosting the women's soccer tournament at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday it will return the event to Kansas City in a two-year deal for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. This comes as a surprise since Texas will make its long-awaited exit to the SEC on July 1st. Texas served as the nominal host of the Big 12 women's soccer tournament during the Round Rock era.

Kansas City, the home of soccer, hosted the event from 2013 to 2019. San Antonio served as host from 1997 to 2012.
All games in the tournament will be played at CPKC Stadium, home of the Kansas City Current, a member of the National Women's Soccer League. Kansas City officials say CPKC Stadium is the world's first facility built specifically for a women's professional sports team.
