But he then added that “Ghost” has yet to face the nightmare that “Tank” has. Denying that Martin will not succeed in dominating Davis, Leonard Ellerbe said, “If you think Tank is going to give up a round, you're crazy. Every fight/opponent has a different approach. What's for sure is he's never faced anything like what we're about to see. June 15th. I can't wait. [till] Next Saturday.“
So what exactly did Errol Spence Jr. say? The New York-born southpaw said he expects Frank Martin to hit a winner on June 15th, saying:I think he's the most skilled and talented fighter Tank has ever faced, which means he's the type of guy who can't afford to miss the early rounds and can go for the knockout in rounds 7-8. I think Frank is going to dominate him through the 12th round and win the fight.“
Spence Jr. acknowledged that Gervonta Davis is a good fighter and could put up a strong resistance, but would eventually succumb to Frank Martin. “The Ghost” is arguably the best opponent “Tank” could face in his decade-long career. Spence Jr. claimed that the speed and power of the Detroit-born southpaw would overwhelm the lightweight champion. Naturally, the former world champion's video drew a response from himself.
