FSL's fourth batch features a dynamic group of Canadian founders accepted into Canada's top sports incubator program
Toronto, June 4, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Future of Sports Lab (FSL) has announced that nine Canadian sports tech startups have been accepted into its acclaimed incubator program. The companies represent a variety of sectors including AI, athlete training, fan engagement, wearable tech and smart devices, analytics and sports betting.
The select group also includes dynamic Canadian athlete-entrepreneurs, including former CFL player James Yurychuk, as the FSL continues to support athlete-entrepreneurs.
Each startup will partner with leading business incubator DMZ to receive immersive programming, access top academics, and have the opportunity to engage and receive mentorship from leaders across the FSL network. Startups that have graduated from FSL programs have raised over $100 million in new funding and investments and secured several significant sports business partnerships.
