Matildas coach Toni Gustavsson has named the 18-man squad for the Paris Olympics, with Katrina Gorrie named despite not having played a match since March.
Charlotte Grant, Lydia Williams, Courtney Nevin, Shaann Fryer, Jada Wyman and Winona Heatley were among those left out of the 23-man squad that played in the recent friendly against China.

However, Grant, Fryer, Nevin and Williams will travel to Paris as reserve athletes, although they will not be able to stay in the athletes' village due to IOC regulations.
If a player is injured or unavailable for any reason, these four could be selected as replacements.
Gorrie's selection is perhaps the most notable, having been out since March after undergoing surgery following an ankle injury sustained while playing for West Ham.
Gustafsson, who is unsigned after the Paris Olympics, believes each of the players selected “brings unique and beneficial qualities.”

“It's very difficult to choose the roster with so many talented players competing fiercely for limited positions,” Gustafsson said.
“It has been a deliberate process over the past few years to reach this point. Each selected player brings unique and beneficial qualities to the squad that will be essential for our Paris 2024 campaign.”
The Matildas were drawn in Group B at the Olympics with the USA, Germany and Zambia.
Gustavsson's team will face Germany in their first match on 25 July in Marseille.
