(2020), and worked with wide receivers coach Tony Ball. He helped conduct national recruiting evaluations for all positions, primarily focusing on Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin in the Midwest, and his No. 29 position during the 2021 early signing period. He played an important role in the recruitment of the class.
Jones joined Vanderbilt after serving as an athletic assistant at Cumberland Academy in Georgia and completing an internship in the Green Bay Packers' scouting and personnel department in the summer of 2018.
From 2015 to 2017, Jones was the quarterbacks coach at Pace Academy (Ga.), where he helped the program win its first AA state championship.
A native of Marietta, Ga., Jones earned a bachelor's degree in recreation management from Ohio State where he was a member of the Bobcats' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He was a three-year letterwinner as quarterback for the Bobcats. He earned his Master of Education in Learning, Diversity, and Urban Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2023.
