Somerville-based Matlen Silver announced Thursday that Michelle Beilman has been appointed CEO, effective immediately. In this role, Beilman, who has served successfully as the company's chief operating officer since 2022, will continue the information technology staffing and technology solutions company's national growth trajectory. While steering the strategic direction of the organization, which has offices across the U.S., Beilman will expand the in-house team of staffing and recruiting professionals who currently serve technology consultants and multiple clients.
Beilman is a longtime Matren Silver executive who rose through the ranks from recruiter to senior vice president of regional sales and operations, and ultimately managed day-to-day operations and management as COO. She will leverage her extensive sales experience and focus on strategic relationship building to continue to expand Matren Silver's portfolio and solidify Matren Silver's leadership position in the industry.
During Beilman's tenure as COO, Matlen Silver continued to close new business while simultaneously launching a number of culture-driven programs for employee engagement and recognition. A passionate advocate of a community-driven staffing business, Beilman oversaw the introduction of the Matlen Silver Valiant Workforce Program, which targets the veteran talent pool.
“Michelle is a natural fit to take on the CEO role and drive Matlen Silver's continued success. Her dedication to her team, creating an engaging work environment from the inside out and unique business acumen set her apart in the industry,” said Jimmy de Silver, chairman of Matlen Silver. “We're excited to see what the future holds for Matlen Silver through Michelle's vision.”
“Being appointed CEO of this organization is a great honor for me and a testament to Matlen Silver's commitment to increasing diversity and improving women's equality in the workplace. I am committed to continuing to make a positive impact with my leadership team who have helped shape the staffing industry. Our in-house team, consultants and valued clients are Matlen Silver's greatest assets and I look forward to continuing to contribute to their growth and success.”
