"It's in regards to an incident that occurred at Onsite Family Karate Studio in Portsmouth," Sergeant McCarthy said. Police say the accuser is a woman, but few other details have been released. Sharash was also charged with four counts of simple assault and two counts of illegally practicing chiropractic. "He was not operating a chiropractic clinic," Sergeant McCarthy said. "This has to do with the undercover conduct that led to the incident." According to a criminal complaint filed in Portsmouth District Court, Challache "intentionally subjected the victim to inappropriate physical contact." "All of these charges involve the same victim," McCarthy said. Portsmouth police said the investigation is ongoing and they are looking into whether there are any additional victims. "We encourage members of the community who may have additional information about this case or any other related or similar cases to contact Detective Matthew Fredrickson at the police department," McCarthy said. Challache could not be reached for comment. His arraignment is scheduled for July 8 in Portsmouth District Court.
