The Florida State baseball team ended the regular season with a series win against Georgia Tech. His 2024 ACC Baseball Tournament has begun and FSU is ready to take on Georgia Tech once again.
The Seminoles (39-14, 17-12 ACC) are the No. 5 seed in the ACC Tournament and the Yellow Jackets (31-21, 15-15) are the No. 9 seed. Georgia Tech will play No. 4 seed Virginia on Wednesday, while FSU waits until Friday to play the Cavaliers. The team with the best performance will advance to Saturday's semi-finals.
ACC Player of the Year James Tibbs III hit 3-for-9 for FSU in last weekend's series, hitting his ACC-leading 24th home run, while All-ACC second-teamer Cam Smith went 7-for-12. He had 7 hits and 7 RBIs, giving him 70 RBIs for the season. . Pitcher Jamie Arnold allowed 11 hits and two walks in 6/3 innings, but gave up just three runs in Thursday's win.

Georgia Tech's All-ACC first-teamer Drew Burress hit 5-for-12 for his 22nd home run of the season, while second-teamer Matthew Ellis also hit 5-for-12 for his 16th home run of the season. Edan Finatelli allowed five runs in five innings in Thursday's loss.
